Stoker / Para Athlete
Owen Cravens (born June 26, 2003) is an American visually impaired paratriathlete and para cyclist from Algonquin, Illinois. Diagnosed with Stargardt Disease โ a juvenile form of macular degeneration โ at age 10, Owen turned adversity into acceleration, making his elite debut in 2019.
A 2024 Paralympian in Paris, Owen has won the Americas Triathlon Para Championships, World Triathlon Para Series Yokohama, World Triathlon Para Cup Long Beach, and the 2025 World Championships Mixed Team Relay gold in Wollongong. He trains with USA Triathlon's elite Project Podium squad at Arizona State University.
Owen advocates for the Challenged Athletes Foundation, Foundation Fighting Blindness, Bear Necessities, Dare2Tri, and the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
Pilot / Pro Cyclist
William Seitz is a professional road cyclist from Vestavia Hills, Alabama, racing at an elite level since his teenage years. A multi-discipline standout across road cycling, mountain biking, and cyclocross โ an extraordinarily rare combination showcasing his deep athletic range.
William raced collegiately at Milligan University before competing on the USA Cycling pro circuit. As Owen's tandem pilot, he rides the front of the Cervรฉlo โ serving as Owen's eyes, calling corners and competitors, driving them to national and international titles.

USA Cycling Para National Championships ยท 2026
Owen Cravens and William Seitz claimed the gold medal at the 2026 USA Cycling Para National Championships, crossing the line first to earn the stars-and-stripes national champion jersey. The pair stood atop the podium with their Cervรฉlo tandem, cementing their status as the top tandem team in the United States.
UCI Para Cycling Road World Cup ยท Chiang Mai, Thailand ยท 2026
Competing against the world's best para tandem teams at the UCI Para Cycling Road World Cup in Chiang Mai, Owen and William secured a silver medal in the Time Trial event โ a strong statement on the international stage and a sign of the duo's rapid rise in world-class para cycling competition.

Just days after their silver medal TT performance, Owen and William stepped back onto the World Cup podium with a bronze medal in the Road Race. Earning two medals at the same World Cup event underscored the team's consistency, strength, and growing competitiveness on the UCI circuit.
